Is your jaw actually weak, or is it puffiness? Symmi measures the angle, the width and the chin from a straight-on photo, then tells you which readings are bone and which ones a routine can move.

How it is measured
From a front view the tool measures the jaw angle at the gonion (where the jaw turns toward the chin), the width across the jaw as a fraction of the widest part of the face, the width across the lower jaw near the chin, and where the chin point sits relative to the midline. Each is compared with the band that reads as defined on most faces.

FAQ
The bone cannot. What sits on it can: submental fat, fluid, and the platysma and masseter tone that define the edge. A puffy lower face can move the jaw angle reading by several degrees. The Symmi app scans, then routes gua sha, ice and chin work into a daily three-move routine and rescans to show the difference.
Masseter growth widens the jaw angle area slightly over months; it does not sharpen the line under the chin. See the article below for the six-month numbers.
Phone lenses at arm's length distort the lower face. Measure from a photo taken at arm's length or further, straight on, and compare like with like.
